Jim is an accomplished senior level business management professional with more than 20-years of, hands-on, cross-functional, experience successfully aligning teams, developing strategies, and implementing process improvements to maximize performance, efficiency, and growth, in small to medium sized business organizations serving manufacturing, distribution, and product support industries.

He has had full operational oversight, including complete profit and loss accountability, for multiple business units throughout his career. With his leadership each of these businesses were able to dramatically improve performance metrics, by growing revenues, effectively reducing overhead and expense and significantly increasing operating margins and earnings, all resulting in millions of dollars in additional bottom line profits and increase value.

Over the course of his career he has worked for, collaborated with, supported, and interacted with a broad array of business and management professionals, from sole proprietors, to private equity partners, to Fortune 100 executives, to government agency officials, in both domestic and international markets. 

Jim's success includes:

• Developing highly successful and engaged teams to drive dramatic performance improvements, across multiple platforms and within multiple organizations.

• Managing the financial performance, including complete profit and loss responsibility, of multiple organizations with each experiencing improved results during his leadership.

• Leading the development and implementation of numerous operation platforms, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), quotation/specifications systems, order entry programs, S&OP, and financial accounting/reporting systems.

• Providing organizational leadership revitalizing maturing organizations, managing rapid business expansion, and leading ground-zero startups.

• Developing sales teams for direct sales, sales support, and sales marketing, resulting in the achievement of dramatic revenue growth, new market development and expanded penetration in existing markets.

• Hands-on leadership of engineering and design teams to aggressively develop and introduce new and improved product lines.

• Managing the financing and capitalization of corporate entities through private equity, commercial lending, and government funding. 

In addition to his extensive hands-on experience, Jim holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a dual focus in Finance and in Organizational Leadership; a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Marketing; and pursued an Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, along with earning certifications in Lean Management, Kaizen, Total Quality Management, and Project Management, and has extensive training and experience in Change Management and Organizational Development.

Jim is an active member within the communities in which he lives and works; serving on the board of directors for the local chamber, as well as on several committees and in supporting other community businesses, agencies, and causes.
